Since I have a five day weekend due to snow and optional teacher workdays, I have been working on valentines math activities and a set of rhyming cards.
This is a notebook file for SMART-boards. It uses the
the notebook software. This smart-board activity helps students compose
and decompose numbers from 11-19 into tens and ones and some futher
ones. Students will look at the tens and ones and show what they will
look like in a double tens frame, write the numeral, and show the
equation.

This smart-board activity helps students add and subtract within 10.
Students will listen to the word problem and then work out the problem
by using the tens frame. After they have worked out the problem they
will write the equation to match.
This pdf has rhyming card pictures and response sheet. Students will
match the rhyming cards together or can play a memory game. A response
sheet is included for the students to record the rhyming matches.
