This is a PDF file. This activity helps students compose and decompose numbers from 11-19 into tens and ones and some further ones. Cut apart all the cards and laminate to make it last longer.
There are four different types of cards: cube card, numeral, double tens frame, and equation. Students will have to match the four cards that go together.
Students will look at the cube card with tens and ones. After identifying the number it represents, students will find the tens frame, numeral, and equation that matches it.
In this pack, there is also a response sheet for the students to record their responses. They can also use this sheet as review for morning work.
