  16. I love being surrounded by the happy, positive energy of my little ones all day. I was a scientist in a medical research laboratory before I became a teacher - what a difference!! ;)

    2. I had a lot of fun being a scientist but always wanted to work with kids. I took a leave of absence from my lab job, taught K-5 science & never went back! I agree- little ones are the best! Tooooo cute! I love your blog, you seem like such a happy & positive person!

  31. Yes, it is a jungle out there - especially in NC, huh? I'm in NC too - Vance County. I love teaching because I'm teaching at the elementary school I attended as a child - for 29 years now!! It's a great sight to see kids who love learning, and want to please themselves, their parents, their peers, their teachers, and other adults.
